Privacy Policy

None. KiddoScan does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information off your device. We have no servers receiving user data, no analytics SDKs, no third-party trackers, and no advertising identifiers in use.

The following information may be stored locally on your iPhone, in the app's private sandbox storage:

• Your child's name (text you type)
• Your child's chosen emoji or photo (if you add one)
• App preferences (mute, scan duration, onboarding completion)
• Premium purchase status (verified by Apple's StoreKit)

None of this leaves your device. If you delete the app, all of this data is removed.

If you choose to add a photo of your child, the photo is selected via Apple's standard PhotosPicker (which doesn't grant the app access to your full photo library — just the photo you pick). The photo is then stored locally inside the app's private Documents directory. Your photos are never uploaded.

iOS may include the app's local data in your iCloud backup of your device — this is standard iOS backup behavior, not a feature of KiddoScan. You can opt out by disabling iCloud backup for the app in your iPhone settings.

KiddoScan offers a one-time Premium unlock processed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. We do not see your payment details. Apple shares only an anonymous transaction receipt that confirms ownership of the unlock — no name, email, or financial information.

KiddoScan is designed for parents to use with their children. The app does not direct any data collection at children. No personal information is gathered about anyone — including children — by KiddoScan or its developers.

We do not place KiddoScan in the App Store's "Kids" category because the app contains an in-app purchase. Apple's Kids category policies prohibit IAPs.

We use none of these. There is no Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, AppsFlyer, Amplitude, Sentry, or similar SDK integrated into KiddoScan. The app contains no advertising and does no ad attribution.

The only third-party service KiddoScan interacts with is Apple's StoreKit, which handles the optional in-app purchase. Apple's privacy policy applies to that interaction: apple.com/legal/privacy.

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and bump the "Last updated" date above. If we ever start collecting any data (we don't plan to), we will publish a clear, in-app disclosure before the change takes effect.
